Our Story
What We Believe
Church of the Holy Cross isn’t a building – we are people.
We are a vibrant and growing community of Christians who gather together to worship the Lord, to study His word, and to serve Him. We are young and old, natives and transplants, bound together by our common faith in Jesus Christ.
We are a worshipping community. We gather together on Sundays and throughout the week for teaching, fellowship, the breaking of bread, and prayers (Acts 2:42).
We are a faith community. We are a people who rejoice with those who rejoice and who weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15).
We are a serving community. We have a variety of gifts, but one Spirit; a variety of service, but one Lord (1 Corinthians 12:4-5). We serve the community of Trussville, and the wider world, all in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ (Colossians 3:17).
We look forward to welcoming you as part of Church of the Holy Cross.
