DISCIPLESHIP AT CHURCH OF THE HOLY CROSS
1. a reproducing of disciples in the likeness of oneself
2. Following a teacher or leader to learn their practices
3. Often used in the context of the Christian faith to carry
out the great commission of Matthew 28 to make
disciples of all nations.
To many the word the discipleship is either completely foreign or a great buzz word around many churches. Some may have heard the term but are really unclear as to what it actually means or entails. At Holy Cross, the word Discipleship is a verb that we believe changes lives. Discipleship happens when people invest in other people. You will see that we do that in various ways but the end goal is help you grow in your personal walk with the Lord as one of his disciples.
