To many the word discipleship is either completely foreign or a great buzz word around many churches. Some may have heard the term but are really unclear as to what it actually means or entails. At Holy Cross, the word discipleship is a verb that we believe changes lives. discipleship happens when people invest in other people. You will see that we do that in various ways, but the end goal is help you grow in your personal walk with the Lord as one of his disciples.

Children’s church is offered for children, age 5 through age 12, during the 10:30 service on Sunday mornings. Our children begin in the “big church” with their family to participate in singing and the reading of scripture. They are then dismissed to engage in a children’s focused sermon based on the topics of the adult church service, but is presented in a more age appropriate manner. Children are encouraged to actively participate in and to lead the children’s church worship service in ways that are meaningful for them. They return to the main service to participate in communion together with their family.
Kids Sunday school is offered for children, age 5 through age 12, on Sunday mornings 9:15-10:15. Sunday school is a time for children to be active participants in our Bible lesson. We keep our school aged children interested and engaged with Bible lessons, games, songs, crafts, and much more.
Nursery is provided for all children, birth until 5 years of age, every Sunday from 9:00 until 12:00. Our nursery is more than just a babysitting service. We believe that early childhood is the perfect time to begin teaching the word of God. Children will enjoy a Bible story, as well as, engaging activities and crafts.
